Sometimes, for various reasons, heavy transports must stop somewhere in a suitable parking space.

The reasons for this can be: regulations, height and width of the transport, weight, change of transport escorts or because the permit stipulates that at certain times with large and wide loads can be driven.

And there are many reasons why an exceptional transport has to stop somewhere.

Many such transports can be found in the Netherlands, including at the border crossing of Venlo (A67), or at truckstop "De Nieuwe Keulse" also in Venlo. Also the Wouwse Tol (A58) in Bergen op Zoom and parking "Zandvliet" (A4) Bergen op Zoom. And of course there are more parking spaces of this kind.
